RESPECT THE NEEDS OF THE SKIN

Moisturizing your skin is essential, but even more so in the summer. With heat, sun, salt, chlorine, and sudden temperature variations (air conditioning), the skin’s hydrolipidic barrier is strained. It is then important to respect his needs and to hydrate him daily in order to help him protect himself against external aggressions.

Our detox – antioxidant care is ideal to maintain optimal skin hydration.

Packed with Aloe vera, antioxidant and moisturizing ingredients such as: hyaluronic acid, extracts of borage, grape seeds, Centella asiatica, Goji berries, natural ferments, flower hydrosols, rice powder, detox care – antioxidant recharges the epidermis in hydration and protects the epidermis from oxidative stress.

To optimize its effects, it is essential to choose foods that promote natural hydration.

HYDRATE INSIDE/OUT

Good hydration inside /out, allows to maintain a good elasticity of the cells. In good health, these, are better able to defend themselves. Hydration improves the elimination of toxins and waste products from the body and thus makes it possible to regain a brighter complexion and a more bouncy skin.

The body loses an average of 2 liters of water per day. That is why it is advisable to hydrate regularly during the day in order to compensate for this loss. Some foods help boost the skin’s natural hydration. The champions of hydration are, of course, fruits and vegetables.

Among the most moisturizing, we note:

  • Cucumber with 97% water,
  • Tomatoes with 95% water,
  • The salad with about 93% water,
  • Melon with 91% water,
  • Lemon and orange with about 90% water
  • Dairy products with 90% water in milk and a little less in yoghurt.

SOURCE OF LIFE WATER

We tell you again, you have to drink water in sufficient quantity. Between 1.5 and 2 liters in summer. We drink in small sips not to wash our body but to moisturize it.

Mineral water or spring water is particularly recommended for the body. If you prefer tap water, consider investing in a filter that allows you to drink water free of heavy metals and toxins. To brighten up, the good idea is to add herbs, and herbs in its water (thyme, basil, lemon, mint, cucumber, raspberries …).

Beware of coffee which has diuretic effects and which dehydrates the body. We then think of the glass of water with espresso, like the Italians!

THE COMPLEMENTS OF OUR SUMMER

In order to display a perfectly hydrated skin, and in full health we can add some supplements to boost us and prepare a return with fanfare. Our best friends:

  • Marine collagen

Collagen is a structural protein of our human body. It is also one of the main constituents of the skin. Unfortunately, collagen production decreases with age. It is therefore interesting to fill this gap with dietary supplements. Collagen smoothes the skin, and fills wrinkles. It is therefore a strong ally for mature skin. It can be found in organic stores or pharmacies. It is often combined with hyaluronic acid and/or vitamins such as Vitamin C that stimulates its production.

  • Borage oil

Borage is a herbaceous plant rich in various fatty acids (polyunsaturated, monounsaturated and saturated). It is mainly the high content of gamma-linolenic acid that makes borage oil particularly interesting from a skin point of view. Indeed, the Omega 6 it contains, regenerate the skin and restore flexibility, elasticity and tone. It also offers great antioxidant benefits. Taken orally its benefits are multiple: anti-inflammatory, immunostimulating, regulating the cardiovascular system and fatty acid levels. Here is an oil rich in benefits to always have in your kitchen. It is necessary to choose it virgin and first cold pressing.

We can water our summer salads copiously. Be careful, it does not support cooking and is kept away from light.

  • Zinc

Zinc is a trace element, that is, it is found only in trace amounts in the body.

It is present in all cells, especially those of the skin.

Zinc plays an important role in the body. It participates in the synthesis of DNA, RNA and proteins, immune and wound healing processes, reproduction and growth. It plays a role in mood modulation and learning, as well as in vision, taste and smell and the prevention of oxidative stress. It is also involved in the process of blood clotting.

In short, an essential to consume for healthy and healthy skin.

The foods that contain the most are oysters, veal liver and sesame seeds.

Take advantage of your summer to make Tahini homemade! It is the perfect accompaniment of fish, vegetables and meats, but also barbecues 😉
